Open Landscape Mentorship
Coming soon!
Mission"Open Landscape exists to ensure that no autistic individual has to navigate the 'transition cliff' alone.
Through free, peer-led mentorship and hands-on life skills training, we are building a community where every individual is equipped to lead an independent, self-determined adult life."
What You'll LearnDevelop New Skills
Develop strategies for essential tasks like meal planning, grocery shopping, healthy cooking, and maintaining a household. Strengthen executive functions such as organization, time management, planning, and prioritization to successfully manage daily responsibilities.
Life Skills
Discover your strengths and explore career options aligned with your interests and abilities. Prepare for the workforce by developing job-seeking skills like resume writing and interviewing, and build the professional and communication skills necessary for success in a diverse work environment. Learn about workplace expectations, rights, and resources for neurodivergent individuals.
Career Guidance
Build a solid foundation with practical skills for budgeting, managing money, and making informed financial decisions. Understand concepts like saving, spending, credit, and taxes.
Financial Literacy
We help you identify your core values to create a step-by-step roadmap toward meaningful goals, while practicing the self-advocacy skills needed to communicate your needs and set boundaries in the community. By developing sustainable habits that work with your executive functioning style rather than against it, you will gain the emotional resilience and confidence to navigate the "transition cliff" and thrive in adulthood.
Personal Development
Are you an adult in the community looking to share your experience? We are seeking vetted volunteers to join the Open Landscape Mentorship team and help autistic young adults navigate the transition into independent adulthood.

We focus on the "big three" of independence: Financial Literacy (budgeting/banking), Daily Living (meal planning/household management), and Career Development (resumes/workplace advocacy). However, your specific "roadmap" will be based on your personal goals.
